Truckee Tahoe Community Chorus will perform
The Truckee Historical Revue
JUNE 10 and 11, 2023
Composed, arranged, and written by Truckee local David Wendell Nelson, with music by Richard Blair, the show revives the hugely successful production from May 2019 that traces the history of Truckee and surrounding areas, beginning with Native American days and culminating with the 1960 Olympics. It recounts truths about the Gold Rush, Railroad Building, Mining, Boca Beer, Chinese and Irish immigrants, and legends including the Donner Party. Live musicians and a video collection of historic images and photos will accompany the production. The Revue educates as well as entertains.
