Please make a donation to sponsor a Musician for The Truckee Historical Revue.

June 10 & 11 at Tahoe Church Amphitheater overlooking the Truckee River & Mount Rose Wilderness.

A full sponsorship is $500. Any amount is appreciated.

Drums played by Randy Humphreys. Randy taught band and Jazz Band at middle schools in Truckee for 25 years and is newly retired. Randy holds a BA degree in Music from San Francisco State University and a Masters in Music from UNR. He is also an adjunct professor at Sierra College. Randy has performed with the Reno Wind Symphony, the Western Nevada Musical Theatre, Toccata, and other groups. He has played with local bands including the Deckheads and TAMA and even sang with TTCC. Randy is very versatile, playing whatever instrument is required - clarinet, saxophone, trombone, guitar, and drums.

Guitar One played by Javier Serrano.

Guitar Two played by Randy Mayer. Welcome back to Randy who was the original Guitar Two player when the Truckee Historical Revue debuted in May 2019. Randy is an experienced musician, songwriter, and teacher. He plays cello for Diablo Valley College Philharmonic Orchestra and is also the guitarist/composer for Christ Lutheran Church in El Cerrito. He has taught music for a number of years at East Bay Waldorf School and tutors privately. During the past academic year, he led an educational pod of first-graders, teaching science, art, and music. He is a member of the Oakland Yellow Jackets bicycle club and also enjoys hiking and swimming.

Cello played by Nick Haines. Nick grew up in Reno where he studied with Barbara McMeen and John Lenz. He participated in the local youth orchestras including the Reno Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Nick maintains a small group of young cello students, some of whom have played alongside him at Toccata performances. He has played principal cellist with the Ruby Mountain Symphony since 2003 and joined Toccata in 2009.

Double Bass played by Quinton Bunk. Quinton studied music at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has been performing as a bassist in Reno, Nevada, and surrounding areas for over a decade with local groups such as the Reno Philharmonic, Reno Pops Orchestra, Truckee Christmastime Strings, and Toccata-Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, as well as many smaller collaborative efforts with other musicians, dancers, and artists.
