
OUR STORY
We are a 60+ member Community Chorus from Truckee and the surrounding areas, ranging in age from 14 to 90, created to bring together adults and students to enjoy & perform a variety of choral music. All are welcome. The chorus is a place to learn, connect, and have fun together.

REHEARSALS

Mondays, 5:45-8:35 PM during Fall & Spring semesters, focusing on performance quality, vocal tone, rhythm, diction, and breathing

Sectionals before class and throughout the semester, focusing on different voice parts
CONCERTS

Two concerts each year including a Holiday Concert & Spring Concert

Music crosses several genres including popular, sacred, classical, jazz, and Broadway
HISTORY

Founded in 2002 as a project of the Sierra Mountaineers Men’s Chorus

Inspired and led by Chris Nelson (1935–2012) to celebrate local talent

SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

TTCC supports the Truckee Tahoe Youth Chorus and musical arts in local schools, awarding scholarships to high school seniors pursuing music in higher education.
